The Poitou Charentes region is not really very well known, well unless that is you were actually born here!. I confess I'd never heard of it before. The regions that most people are familiar with are usually wine making regions, and while wine is made in Poitou Charentes, it's not famous for it.

Chez Piron is situated at the very bottom of Charente Maritime, about 14 km south of Jonzac. This is Cognac country, and we are surrounded on three sides by vines.

You can choose what type of holiday you want. Whether it's relaxing by the pool, or visiting one of the many sights that the region has to offer, it's up to you.
